I can imagine the disappointment of the Leicester players after what happened at Anfield. Play against a semi-reserve squad, dribble two goals and control the game, but then lose everything overnight … I don’t think that after this the team will be able to get together and appear in the best possible light in the shortest possible time. Especially in the match against Manchester City.
Guardiola’s team has won eight rounds in a row and clearly does not intend to stop. There are no staffing problems in the team, so, frankly speaking, I don’t see any special reasons for not having another, and most likely confident, victory for City.
